Hopefully I can still help. As for corsets, the plastic boned ones are easy to wear, like any other dress or top. I imagine the question refers to the steel boned ones. A new one is recommended, do not buy a use one. Make sure it's fits you well, too lose can hurt you as well having it on too tight. Once you get a new one, break it in so it accommodates to your body. wear it for 2 hrs each day, do this about 4x. If it fits right, you use it right, you can dance the night away and it won't hurt:)

I’m sure this is still helpful advice to somebody out there.

Do you think it's possible to mix ero and sweet? (a lot of pastel colours, maybe fun prints, colorful wigs etc)? Or maybe the idea is just too crazy? :P

Absolutely!  I encourage you to go through the archives, but here are a few examples that you might find useful.

namaaarie asked:

Are Fan+Friends products as gorgeous in person as they are online? I'm a bit finicky about purchasing online because there are a lot of obscure websites without reviews that could be scammers...

F+F are definitely not scammers.  I have bought from them a few times myself.

Their products pretty much match the photos, and are pretty decent quality.  The only issue I’d say that I’ve had with them is sizing.  They seem to think that westerners are all larger, taller people, even if you give them measurements to the contrary, so not every product I’ve received from them has been the measurements I’ve wanted, though most have been, and most people I’ve spoken to have had no problems in that area.  However, they are also really communicative despite the language barrier, and they will try to accommodate any custom requests you have.

❥This is a very confused, and often controversial style of Lolita due to the fact that a lot of people who are un-familiar with the style or Lolita fashion in general may get it wrong.
❥Although Ero Lolita, or ‘Erotic Lolita,’ does sound that it may be a little less modest, and a little more tongue-in-cheek this style does not involve suddenly being naked, and wearing only an Alice-bow.
❥This style contains more fetish elements such as leather, collars, and corsets that one may not be able to pull-off in any other Lolita style while still maintaining a fair amount of modesty.
❥Skirts for this style may be a little shorter than usual, but nothing overly provocative.
❥Ero Lolita may be one of the only Lolita styles where you may be able to pull-off fish-net stockings if coordinated properly.
❥Make-up for this style can be a little more mature, and a little less ‘girly’ than the other styles.
❥This is one style of Lolita that should not really be attempted by a beginner.
